Sociology term for the process by which social institutions and the patterns of behavior and social structures associated with those institutions are repeated across time from one generation to the next

Hi Michelle,
We teach future generations [children] how to behave through the process of socialization. Major agencies of socialization include the family, schools, peers, media, and churches. Regards.
