How to be a admin on Facebook?

I was just asked to be a admin a facebook page and I excepted but I only have a general idea of what I'm going to be doing. Can someone explain exactly what I'm going to be doing, and is there anything important I should know. Are there expectations? thanks. By the way the page is based on a fictional character from a movie If that makes a difference.

There are different ways to become admin in Facebook, I think to be one you should:

1. add your own page, group - you'll be an automatic admin
2. like a page, join a group then ask the admin to add you as a new admin
