How do you make your facebook page public for all to see, not just your friends?

I'm new to facebook. Is it rude to add strangers to your friends list?

you can not make your profile public as far as i know. i believe you have to add people or they have to request you. i dont think its rude to ad strangers, they have the option of saying No if they want to.

I find myself with many strangers on my friend list that I've just sort of picked up through the applications -- some of the applications (for example, Pirates, Mafia Wars, YoVille, etc.) let you join groups or form guilds or clans, any many people will contact you just to grow their groups.

Also, you can join groups -- anyone else in the same group can view your page. They have them for your general location and fan sites, too. So people in your area or with the same interests can view your page.

Just go to privacy settings and set your profile privacy to every one. After doing this thing your profile will be visible to every one on facebook.
