When you log-in to yahoo answers via facebook can your friends see what you ask ?

They can see only if you let them to see!

yes, they can see your answers, and if they follow the link to your home page they can also see all your questions. I un-linked it for this reason.

They can see whatever you post on the Main Board.

Besides that they can also see everything in your Public Profile (all your Q & A) as you have not privatised your Public Profile.

If you "block" certain people they can't see anything you post and you can do that via their avatar if you hover over it so you have to do that via one of their Q or A.
