Should i tell him i like him?

My guy friend asked me what's wrong because I said I had a not so good day aswell. I told him my ex bf said I wasn't pretty, that i didnt feel pretty and so did his friend said that. Me and my guy friend dont go to the same school, we met through friends on facebook.


He used to go to my other school,but we never talked. He texts me alot and comments on my status/likes my status too. He wanted me to post a vid of me singing. I posted a status askin what songs which my friends commented and he did aswell saying" Did i start this?" "and is this for me?" Today i posted "I hate guys -.-" and he commented "But you love me? ^~^". I uploaded a new photo of me and he liked it.

My guy friend said" Don't let them bring you down. You're beautiful and unique with an awesome personality. Don't let anyone tell you you're not pretty. They're garbage." What does it mean when a guy says it? He has a gf but they've been gettin in alot of fights and stuff.
