Is marketing a good career?

I had planned to go to university next year to become a social worker but i have been offered the opportunity to become a marketing assistant, i am currently a Receptionist for the same company. i just don't know what to do!

go try it - see if you like it - you'd learn as you go whats involved - and you still have a year until university - so if you don't like it you can change your ind later - your young - experiment "adjust fire as you go" good luck (marketing can be very fun)

Marketing is a very good career, but you need to choose the kind of marketing,which should also help you to work as social worker.
