Why doesn't my avatar show up for my yahoo account when I clicked on yahoo on the avatar home page?
My avatar shows up for messenger and twitter but will not change the exclamation point photo when I choose the avatar photo.

This is happening to lots of others now. Many are getting a message that they are doing maintenance and to try again later. So that's all you can do is try every once in a while. At one point in time all I had was a blank avatar screen with no explanation, then one day it was back. The avatars are on the bottom of the priority list of fixits.
