Because they're ignorant and they're displacing anger on him. They may also think his lack of concern for conserving the right to bear arms as subjecting people to death, but that's a slight stretch.

Because people put these pictures up on Facebook of Hitler and President Obama in similar poses. Then they fabricate a quote and attribute it to Hitler to describe what President Obama is doing. Stupid people see these pictures and they believe it without so much as taking time to see if the quote is real, much less seeing what the context of it might be. They share the picture or quote on every social media platform they can find.

A safe bet is that if you see any of these key words in describing a major American politician, the person typing is a full-blow moron:
Socialist, Communist, Fascist, Stalin, Hitler, Nazi, Tyrant, King, Caesar, Muslim, Cult, Nero, ec.
