Facebook notification problem?

Ok, so when i get a chat message on facebook on my pc i don't hear anything, and nothing pops up, i have to manaully go to messages and check, but on my blackberry i hear a sound and get a chat notification, Please help me, and ive tryed turning my phone off...thanks...

Go to account settings >> click on the notification tab >> there you can edit the notification.
or bottom of the chat window you will see a gear button, click on it and select advanced settings and you can change chat settings there
