I just got one for my dad and I'm actually quite impressed. The video recorder isn't super high-end but it's a fun little feature for uploading video to social networking sites. FM with live pause is very cool. Having FM on it means that you still have other options for music if you can't get your entire library into 8GB or 16GB. But, go for the 16GB. Twice the capacity for only $30 more is the way to go. Even the built-in speaker and mic are nice bonuses. It's really handy for voice memos and saves a small fortune on the cost of a separate voice recorder. Flash memory instead of a hard drive means it's got a lot longer lifespan than many others.
