Is there a way of liking/unliking Facebook comments without the option being there?

I was having a look at somebody's facebook and realised that I have managed to like a comment on one of their profile pictures without there being access to a like or unlike button. Does anybody know any tricks to remove this, as I am not friends with the person and there is no option there to do so. Would this have been caused by a bug?

u have to be friend with him/her otherwise u cannot like --- and also u cannot like without the like button !!
