do couples who rub it in you're face annoy you?
ok, first things first im just going to address the obvious reply couples are going to give to this question whereby they accuse me of jealousy...
well im sorry to upset you but im not, if i was jealous i would have a problem with all couples not just the ones who rub it in you're face...
the truth of it is (whether or not ur wise enough to admit it to you're self) that you want me to be jealous of you because it makes u feel good about yourself, it makes u feel ur better than me

right now thats over... on to the question, im specifically referring to the ones who do anything of the following:

# excessive kissing in public,

# constant posting about there other half's on Facebook e.g "i love u so much" on there wall (if ur just saying that to him/her, message them, no need to attempt to 'show off')

# mentioning there other half as often as possible in conversation even if its a complete tangent to the subject

# and of course their very favorite... referring to all the people who are jealous of them

again i must repeat that im not talking about all couples, many are fine, however the ones i am referring to seem to have no notion of the fact that people don't want to hang onto their love life with baited breath... infact they really couldn't care less,
these people are socially awkward to be with and alienate them selves, often ignoring others with there obsession only socializing long enough to get in another reference to how in love they are...

in my experience they tend to be young and have more recently got together,
the older couples who have been together over 5-10 years are usually much better... and ironically (since they don't do as much lovey-dovy stuff), statisticaly have far more successful relationships

so to what extent do you agree/disagree?
(please give you're relationship position)

I do get annoyed when it comes to couples "flaunting their love" with each other. No matter if it's boy boy, girl girl, or boy girl, I find it irritating. But then I stop to think, they're just doing that for attention and want people to go "aww =3". But those types of couples don't even last for a year so that's how I justify it.

Yep. I'm single. And I wholeheartedly agree. I'm all for mature couples who don't feel the need to shove their relationships down everyone else's throats. But the showboat couples annoy me. Honestly to me, the extra theatrics makes me think there's some level of insecurity. Like they have to not only convince everyone else of how great their relationship is, but they also are trying to convince themselves. I know a couple of Facebook couples who literally post multiple times a day about how much they love the other, I have the best boyfriend/girlfriend ever, I love you babe, etc. etc. ad nauseum. But don't say anything about it because then you're "a hater" who wants what they have. What's the worst is when these people are professing their love to each other despite the fact that they've only been together for a month, two months, three months. It's quite tacky looking if you ask me.
