How do i remove feeds from certain people on Facebook?

I have alot of friends for the apps i use. When i log into facebook, i only want to see the feeds for certain people. I dont want to see the ones for my apps and those friends. How do i customize this, if at all possible??

next to whatever they post, theres a hide button. click on that. hope this helpz =)

on the top right corner of their post (if you drag your mouse over) there will be a hide button.
