responding. Is this a virus or is there something I am doing wrong.

imho i would use security.symantec.com and scan for all known viruses , if this is not the problem then google plus me at ianmccully or contact me on skype by clicking my name thanks ian

With the Sky Broadband router (mine is a dark grey colour) it is occasionally necessary to reset the router. Either pull out the power plug from the router or push the on/off button, wait 20 seconds, then power up again. This resets the router though you may need to wait 3 or 4 minutes before the connection is ready to go again.
