Can someone explain to me how you get paid from creating a youtube channel?

Here's some ways you can make money from youtube:
1. You have a popular video, (tens of thousands of viewers) and YouTube will contact you saying take advantage of you're video and you will get money based on how many people click the ads while watching you're video.

2. If you have 500+ subscribers and make videos very often you can become a YouTube partner, then you can get money based on ads and the views on you're videos!

You can greatly increase your YouTube views by following basic optimization tips:

You get paid by Google Adsense. Not youtube. But if you create a channel on youtube and promote your video w/ a program called JumpStart2.com they actually send real people & real traffic to your videos. So if you have enough videos you can earn money threw youtube!
