What do you think about Facebook?
I used to be a total addict, going on it everyday after school for up 4, 5 hours. Then stuff happened and I decided to delete my account. 2 years on, and I'm so glad I did. I just find it to be so bitchy. Everyone starts arguments, and it just esculates. It has it's good points, e.g - talking to people who you don't live near/see as much anymore, but half the time people will have 600 friends, but only actually know about 200 of them. Don't even get me started on notifications! Times where you'd 'like' a status and end up with 60 notifications over one post. So annoying! What do you think of Facebook?

I think similar to you but I find it great to take a look at people that you used to know, that you really didn't like to see how bad their lives currently are haha

i check my fb around once a day . I think if you dont let it consume your life its fine. I find it handy to create events and save the dates, and even i communicate with others from my uni (i live 100km from uni) to help each other with assignments etc.

It's misnamed; it has nothing to do with a face or a book.

I think it's awesome because I can keep up with the comings and goings of my friends and family. None of my friends or family ever posts anything "bitchy".

Also, it helps me to help the government keep track of my opinions about the corruption that runs rampant here in the United States of America. I like for the politicians to know that I'm not happy with their rampant treasonous activities and unconstitutional legislation. Plus, I like the little cutesy things that some of my friends post on my wall, or their wall, or someone else's wall.

Ooh! I also like it because I'm "friends" with Olivia Newton-John and Karmin. I like getting little notices from them about their comings and goings. ONJ and Karmin. I love them. I think I'll try to be "friends" with Flo from the Progressive Insurance commercials on TV. I love Flo too. If Mama Cass Elliott were still alive, I'd be "friends" with her too.

Ooh! And if "Clarice" were a real person, I'd be "friends" with her too. And every so often, I would post "Have the lambs stop screaming?" on her wall, just for kicks.

I think it's brilliant. My friends and I use it to organise meeting up so that's really useful. We record and post the dances that we have to learn for exams and performances do noone forgets them and the people that miss lessons can catch up. Finally it's great to just have chats with people on. The notifications aren't as bad as they used to be because you can unfollow posts and I've only gotten 1 FarmVille request in the part year! Although it can be really bitchy, as long as you don't get involved, and you just sit back, watch and laugh, then it's all good ;-)
