She saw my facebook message but did not reply?

I found my best friend from grade 2 and 3 on facebook and messaged her asking if she remembered me. We're both 20 now. I just wanted to know how she was doing. Its been 2 days..and she hasn't replied. It says she saw the message. Its not like I want to rekindle our past friendship or anything like that... I just wanted to know if she remembered me. Why do you think she didn't reply? I think she's being rude. Normally when I find my old friends on facebook, they light up with excitment and are thrilled that I remembered them. How come my BEST friend from elementary school doesn't care to even reply or show any kind of emotion at all!? I'm actually quite sad and offended.

Dear Sabrine, You should not feel sad or bad because everyone must have the space where they can choose and decide what they want. It is your right to choose wether or not you want to reply just like her. Dont feel bad and dont feel sad.

Are you expecting her to reply you is compulsive. My dear its not. Life is diversified and people make choices based on their experiences. You need to respect her decision. You need to accept her decision. and dont be emotional about it

If both of you are not Facebook friends then her reply will be there in other folder. Sometimes Facebook block someone from sending messages to the people who has not Facebook friends. May be that also the reason. send her a Facebook friend request first.
