Would you post a goodbye 2 weeks notice on your facebook? (leaving your job)?
I have been at my job for almost 9 years. I am waiting for my drug test to come back (that will for sure pass) & I'm hired at a new company.
1 of my best friends/co workers knows. She asked how I was going to go about telling people. Since I am pretty much the only person trained at my current job working different areas. She mentioned posting on facebook. (after of course handing in the proper paper work with my 2 weeks notice & other needed paper work) I thought about it posting on facebook since I do work with about 85+ people. But I am only friend with about 35 on face books. Since we all work shifts many I will not see in the 2 weeks before I leave. I wasn't sure if it was proper or worth it or what even to say? Good idea or bad idea? I planned on just putting in my notice telling my close work friends & slipping out quite if my close work friends let it slip oh well. I did not want to make it a bigger deal then it has to be. I'm excited to leave but also don't want to burn any bridges. Ads |

Very very bad idea. You should never post anything work related of any kind onto social networks. If you want to tell people, then do so in person,
