What are the top ten social problems our society is currently facing?
Why do you think each one is important? Which one tops your list as the one single most pressing social problem today? Why? What is the current status of that problem in our society? What is being done about it? Who is doing something about it?

This is like a thousand questions with really long answers.
What do you mean by "our society"... do you mean people living in America? Do you mean global society?

Grid: Believing that you deserve more than other people, like the immigrants, or other cultures and or religions. The right to live and work is universal.

Ambition: There is been a long time that we have the technology to live in peace and without poverty, but the resources are kept by a few who are passionate for social position and power.

Power: Unfortunately, the most power full nation in the world is a Republic, giving to much power to those who do not care but for their own. Democracy is the way to give the people the power to live in a better and more equal society.

Militarization: The military industry produces no more than war and destruction. If we had expend in education half of what we expend in the machine of killing, we would be living in a better world.

Capitalism: It produces poor distribution of the goods produced by the people, this is why some people has so much that living their lives a hundred times they would not been able to produce the goods that they own. Only one person can have 3/4 of the cake, even if it was made by the effort of the bast majority.

Lack of social education: Most unfortunately, the people who have more seams to be the less educated, this is why the more they have the more they abuse our society.

Misinformation: The major industry of information works for a few who manipulate our lives, this is why Mr. Bush could start a war on false premises, killing over one and a halve million Innocent people on the premises of "Freedom for Iraq" now they are less free than ever, their debt for the favor they never ask for is worst than been living in their last regime. The media would never let you know.

The other tree would be: Freemasonry, corruption and imperialism. The tree of them are very much linked together.

All of the above are currently shaping our planet, many people is working on solving these problems, the bast majority do not care. And others are working to keep it this way, like the Republican Party of the USA.
