How do you get infected with viruses?

I've been wondering how people get infected with viruses/spyware just by surfing clean things like facebook, etc . I always wanted a visitor to go on my laptop and a random virus pop-up from kaspersky comes up so i feel famous and happy!
i know facebook itnt clean, ads koobface etc but people just get badly infected but how??

Its not Facebook that gives or any major website that has viruses.

Its people who like to browse Porn, click pop ups and download stupid stuff of the web.

That's how you get infected.

You just got to know what site you visit each time.

It is all very easy!!!! If a person stays STUPID - his computer will get a virus..... And usually you don´t find the virus - it finds you.... Just open one of the spam e-mails (enlarge your penis or something), or open an e-mail with a photo from an 18 year girl that you´we met on the internet (somehow they always say they are 18....) without turning on your Antivirus software - and the result is guaranteed. You will get a Trojan in the photo that will scan your computer for passwords and information about your bank accounts - and then then send it to the hacker.........
