What's the pros and cons of having all your family memebers and friends in one place = FB?

Hi. I used to have Myspace long time ago and added a bunch of total strangers for fun which ended up in a mess.
So i've stayed away from SNS since then but I'm finally goin to join Facebook this month because all my family and friends have one.

What's the pros and cons of having all your family and friends in one place?
I mean friends as in my friends from old schools, friends in college, friends at my work place, friends in my yoga class and etc... i really have lots of friends in difference places in my town and most of them don't know each other.

u cant post eveything u want
u cany post all the pictures cuz then they will be like
"HONEY NO PICS LIKE THAT ON FB "
and they will be all up on your business
they ARE more but a tip
