What does it mean when a guy sends friend request to your friend on facebook?

well i have a lil crush on him but we dont chat much...he sent friend request to my friend after i posted on fb , i was at my friends home...so he knows me and my friend are together now..
my friend ,me and crush have met together quite a time so is he intersted in her??

I think you're reading too much into this, he just sent a friend request, people send friend requsts to people they only bumped into each other, not based on anything
