Your reaction to Jim Ross' responses to being fired on Raw last night?
WWE announcer Jim Ross says he was "blindsided" by his storyline firing on Monday's Raw, which matches up with Vince McMahon's regular treatment of Ross on the air.

Ross said on Twitter Tuesday morning, "I obviously wasn't aware I was being canned. I agree, it was embarrassing. So were many things on Raw."

In a separate tweet, Ross was asked if WWE took his dignity, especially with his wife on the front row in Oklahoma City. "It was embarrassing for her as we were blindsided." Ross said. He added, "No," as to whether they took his dignity.

On Monday night following Raw, Ross, who was trending on Twitter, addressed the matter with his immediate reaction:

"Going home early tonite. Thx to all who appreciated my work. It was fun. I may have lost my 'spot' but I'll never lose my dignity. Proud of my body of work & WWE Universe. I wasn't speechless after being fired. I simply chose not to speak - for the record... I'm amazed & grateful @ the support all of you have given me tonite. I'm proud of my on air contributions at WWE. More proud of ur support."

After last Monday night, I think they really made it a whole lot worse. The fact that they fired JR and put Jim Lauranitis (another JR I like to point out) as COO is absolutely weak a story-line. I thought we'd expect some great turn for a change, a return or even some beat-down or whatever, it was just a disgrace to me.

I already had a feeling JRv2 was going to fill the position, so it makes the whole thing seem not worth watching. Because after the walkout, not just me, many people, believed and had high expectations for last night after watching the dismall walkout.

I'd rate that Raw a good 3/10!

i really dont care he wasnt wrestling he deserves to lose his job ( in my opinion everyone needs to earn their spot in the ring ). See storyline firing his responses dont even matter. He " obviously wasn't aware " wow shows the WWF cares about their employees enough to tell them the storylines. It wasn't embarrassing he already kissed McMahon's ass. Exactly. His wife was in the front row ? That is ice cold. Still not embarrassing. Ross says a lot of things. Of course they didnt take his dignity. Lol why was he going home early? lol. I appreciate his work he was a great announcer, but again if you are in the wrestling business WRESTLE. ill bet Cole is happy JR lost his spot AGAIN. He should be proud he was doing an awesome job as an announcer. Good he should have had a lot to say. He has tons of support and we all no it was just a storyline he jus is not allowed to break kayfabe.

word to the wise
