It's where you can post blogs about what you are up too and stuff and you can have followers who follow your blogs and are noted when you upload a new blog.

Twitter is a microblogging service that is used for sharing personal or business messages within 140 characters. It's much different from texting someone. You can only send a text message to known people, or people whose phone numbers are known to you. But Twitter allows you to interact and network with new people, who otherwise you would have never met. Also, Twitter allows you to share photographs with your followers. TwitSnaps.com is one photo share application that you can use for posting photo-tweets.
