when it comes media and sexuality?
When it comes to social media, popular culture, music videos and so on does it encourage young people to have a heighten sexual awareness? Some people think that in empowers people(especially females) and others think it's degrading and demeaning and that it sends wrong messages and encourage certain behaviors for both males and females of younger generations.
There has always been sexuality and promiscuity, I think that it's just that some young people don't know how to protect themselves in the digital age.

I think it considered demeaning because the woman is often portrayed as the "meat".

If they had more images of men being the "meat", I think people would complain less. Men don't seem to whine as much about things like this.

I do have a slight problem with it because it encourages people to have a distorted view of their value and worth.

Girls are taught to value their attractiveness and sexuality, boys are encouraged to hyper-masculinity and sexuality.

Good parenting can offset much of this, but I do believe it is a little damaging. But that is my personal opinion and I am sure others would think otherwise.
