If i want to search up someone's name on facebook and click on their name, can i get in trouble? Even if don't friend request them? What if i look at their pics? I know these people but i don't wanna get in trouble.

No, there are no laws to prevent this. As well, no one will even know.

Facebook is a public website. When people agree to the terms of use, they are agreeing to people being allowed to see whatever is set to 'public'. No you cannot get into trouble for searching and Facebook stalking. Everyone does it.

If they can prove you did it (which requires seizing your computer), they can't charge you with a crime on that basis; however, they can put it in their list of supporting facts for charging you with a crime RELATED to that conduct.

For example: if they obtained a warrant to seize and search your computer and discovered you stalked a girl on FB by the name of Shirley Temple several times a day for the past 6 months, they could use it in a case against you for the rape of Shirley Temple, which occurred two weeks before.

No you can't get into trouble. People can change their privacy settings and if they don't then they are kind of out of luck. However, if you were to look at these people and committed a crime for some reason(with malice behind it) they could probably use it against you, and say the crime was premeditated.
