Is it illegal to impersonate a member of a celebrity's family on twitter?
There's a fan of an act whose fans are mainly teenage girls, who is pretending to be a member of their family. She sends fans private messages from them and some of them really think it's from them while everyone else knows she's lying and only doing it for attention. I was wondering if they're breaking the law by doing this?
Thank you David. Ads |

Under Twitter and Facebooks rules you can pretend to be anyone but you must make sure you make it clear you are not that person. Doing it for false pretences or for fraud is another matter You should report it to Twitter. or to your ow police.
