Would you pay a fee to join a social network?

Would you pay a one-time membership fee to join a social network? And If so, what would you think a decent amount to pay would be? This is a unique social network geared for a specific group of people and their is nothing like it out right now.

Their?There are many social networks out there geared for specific groups of people. The ones I have seen are free because with that specific group of people come specific ads for such people which pays for it. I would not consider paying a fee since I have no problem meeting people face to face.
