What Does it Mean When Someone Is On Your Facebook Chat?

I tried googling the answer, and it only came up as people who you've recently interacted with. This girl I like is always on my Facebook side bar chat and I've never messaged her or viewed her profile, so why is she on my chat out of the 50 other people who are online? Does it mean she's possibly looking at my profile? Thanks.

The people that appear are just random, there is no link between who's in the chat (or on the tiles of Friends on your page) and who is visiting your page.

I know this, because I did a test using some fake facebook accounts I made. I never visited my profile with them, but they showed up under my chat and my Friends on my page.

maybe she is not chatting and she is just online...

If she is in your friendlist & and she is online & its showing there up then its normal.

If she is offline but still showing her there in chat bar, its probably because you msg with her alot or its just random.
