How to convert web traffic into product sale using SMO.?

Earlier I was able to grab very good traffic through Social media optimization (SMO) but Alas !! I am not able to convert the traffic into the genuine sells.

Firstly, you have done a good job of bringing good amount of traffic to your website. But you need to know the visitor's interests and weather you catered well to their interests. You generated the curiosity but was it well feed-ed? If they came on your website and went away from the same page, then they got mislead by your advert or links. Secondly, for a visitor to generate and turn a click into a sale, you need to show that your website is safe, genuine, and not many banners running on the website. Your website should hae good and informative content. Other thing that comes to my mind is, that they just maybe browsing for something, and wanted to get the best deal. So keep checking your competitor pricing strategy.
