What is this document saying? dealing with German Social Democratic Party?
World and colonial policy is pursued for the purpose of capitalist exploitation and for displaying military forces...[I]t corresponds first and foremost to the greedy desire of the bourgeois and for new opportunities to invest in ever-increasing capital which is no longer content with exploiting the home marker, and to the desire for new markets which each country tires to usurp to itself.

source: resolution of the German Social Democratic Party Congress, 1900.

also would the social democrats be interested in expansion? i don't think they would be but why not?

Consider also how they would like computer technology to enhance liberties via civic moderator two button remove google unwanted ads option and have ads answer to the constutions of world since citizens have right to determine so . the document means that rather than useexisting tech for democratic approaches the military one is prefered by capitalists to stop the democratic use of technology like for example today constitutions as computer programs and everything answering to constution giving choice.

The German Social Democratic Party was a Marxist party, and, as such, was opposed to the expansion of capitalist and imperialist countries: they saw this as an expansion of the exploitation of the workers by the bourgeois owners of the means of production.

The party was only interested in expansion in this context, not because they wanted to expand the party into these new colonial territories.

BTW - they did not morph into the Nazi party.
