dealership lie (balise) what to do?
I bought a used 2010 Nissan Rogue from Balise (big dealership) three days ago in MA. Two things I mention 1st was tire pressure was low and the sign was on. 2nd keyless entry didn’t work. Gary the sales person agrees that they will fix both of these issues. I came next day to sign the paperwork and before I sign any paperwork I asked him about the issues and he said the keyless is working and the tire pressure sign is all set. By his words I signed the paperwork. Took the car home and the keyless doesn’t work I replaced the battery nothing it looks like it has to go to Nissan Dealership to get reprogram and cost me $. Only came with one key. It’s still under 60 days warranty by MA law but I don’t know if I qualify.
So what should I do???? How to make them pay for it??? what to say to dealership about that??
thnkzz

If nothing is in writing, then they don't owe you anything.
If it is still under factory warranty (3 years, 36K miles from original date of service) then you should get the keyless entry fixed under that. The TPMS light should also be covered unless something is just wrong with one of the tires.

Here is what you do - call the dealership and talk to Gary. Ask him to make it right, If he refuses, go to the dealership, ask for the general manager (or sales manager) and explain the situation in a calm, professional manner.

If they still refuse to make it right, just tell them you are going to go to dealerrater.com and every social media site you can think of and write a very poor review about your experience at their dealership. Even if you cost them one customer, it's going to affect them more than them just taking care of these minor issues and making you a happy customer.

Auto finance is what I do for a living and it depends on what was in writing.

There is a form called a "We owe" that is used to describe any work agreed on to be performed by the dealer after the sale af any vehicle. If this form was filled out and the items listed the you have no problem simply call the service department and schedule a appointment to have the work done.

If this form was not filled out to include these items, your out of luck unless the vehicle is still under the factory warranty.

Good luck.
