What do I do now that I have self published my own novel?
I am 15 years old and I wrote and self published my own novel called A Thousand Miles. I got it edited as well as I have purchased the copy rights for my book. It is now in the public library in my home town and school. I have also been given the opportunity to get my own book signing at my school. I also am in the process of putting it in a book store out side of the town I live in. I'm getting interviewed Saturday for our local newspaper and I was written about in an article for ARISE! I was told that I wouldn't even be able to write my book and I have accomplished all this. Now my question is do you have any other ideas as of what I should do?!

Congratulations! Sounds like you've got a lot ahead of you for all this!

But what are you asking, exactly? For ideas? Or what you should do to get your novel out there? You can get various copies printed and go around places and tell them about it, they might buy them from you and sell them. No one I've ever spoken to on here has really gotten this far in the question asking zone. Congrats, again!

Get it advertised at Barnes & Nobles as a new book? If you wrote a children's novel, then you can see if you can get it republished or get the sequel published via Scholastic Corp.

Enjoy the ten minutes before you grasp that everyone is laughing at you being proud of this as if you accomplished something, rather than just bought yourself something.

At lest the special ed kids actually win the race they're in.

Start writing another book. Very few people become rich and famous from just one novel.

Write another one! Try to get your story out there. Live up the fame. Try to help other's who want to self publish or need some editing.

Congratz making it this far!

You could spread the word around. Let people know what you have accomplished.
You could put it up on a website.
You could look around online for any professional publishers and email them.
There are lots of things you can do now.
Just spread the word. More people will find out when your in the newspaper.
You can even contact one of your idols in book writing and let them know.
Ask them this question. You never know, They might even write back..

Hope this helped,

Advertise.
Try to get established critics to read your book, their reviews are invaluable.

Practice, practice, practice! Then try to write a book that actually gets accepted for publishing! And practice, practice, practice until it happens!

EDIT: Your book? http://www.lulu.com/shop/alyshia-hull/a-...97429.html Better the summary for starters!
