Is facebook playing up for anybody else?

Ok... so facebook has been having major problems lately. I am unable to login because it just says ''internet explorer cannot display the page'' blah blah. when i do eventually get in to facebook my apps takes ages to load or don't work. also the chat thingy is slow and laggy and says the other person is offline when they're actually online. do any other social networking sites play up that often? if not then i'm switching to myspace. Thanks for you help.

I see this problem quite often on the computers at university. What version of internet explorer are you currently using? If it is not the latest then upgrade!

Also if you switch browsers to Firefox then I have never seen this problem occur in firefox browser. The chat is also much less laggy in firefox.

mines only working half of the time. same with apps and games. Don't know why its happening but its pmo. I think it might be the facebook servers because every other website and game works for me; facebook is the only site thats lagging. And I don't think it has anything to do with browsers since I tried mozilla firefox and google chrome and it was the same.
