I'm working on a New Social network concept and all i'm a programmer. How do i market when its done it?

Most social networks started by programmers fleshing out their ideas and putting them out there. The people who started Youtube, Facebook and Myspace created their ideas, invested some money and created the sites.

Fortunately, with the right skills, this is not too expensive of an endeavor.

If I were you I would create my idea and put it out there. No better way to market something than proof of how it works, especially if you can prove it works well. If it works really well, then some big players might approach you and look into buying into it or buying it off of you.
