Can anyone give me any tips on settin up a buy and sell buisness?

i would really appricate it if any one could give any tips on setting up buy and sell buisness. i know where im getting the stuff from would it be worth setting up a website or renting a shop to sell the stuff from. what would i ave to do to make it legit.

Its legit anyway whatever way you go about it.

My brother use to buy and sell cars, phones, all sorts of electrical goods.

As long as you have the resiepts for the items your selling on, I dont see how you shouldnt be allowed too.

You can do it via friends / family.
Get the word around a bit that way.

Or open up a facebook group page, same with myspace, bebo and other social networks. Add a few random people from the area you live, and see where that gets you.

You can also make a free website at Wix.com or something, Blast that around a few of your social websites. Once your up and running and have money coming in and out, you'll be able to use your free website with a Domain of your choise, you can buy these online.

So instead of your site being http://www.wix.com/yourbusinessname/home
It will be http://www.yourbusinessname.com.

Hand out a few leaflets around your neighborhood, post letters through peoples doors.

Try putting your items in Friday Ad paper and online, and also Gumtree helps too.
(Becarefull, you have many scam people on Gumtree, now hitting on Friday Ad, so if anyone offers you an amount over what you have put it for, ignore there emails, they probably live in India or something trying to get Items free. Make it clear its cash on collection only,

Or if your using a bank, keep all proof that you're on a self imployed buying and selling business. Because my brothers bank account got hmm, lets be nice - F****ed off, as they thought he was doing Fraud, and closed it as he couldnt find paperwork to proove some of his transactions.
