Everytime I click the compatibility view on farmville at facebook website my my anti virus?
(avira) program always detect a malware name HTML script virus which can be found on temporary internet files. But I already deleted it everytime it appears. Is this malware is a threat to my pc? Is it possible to limit my temporary internet files to small size like 8MB or disable it if possible, and what will be the effect?, same apply to Java.

Most apps on facebook are usually from a third party and not by facebook its self although personnally i have known farmville to be very safe and trustworthy, it is really hard to say

But it could actually be the anti virus its self, You could try a different anti virus, Or just stop using Farmville for the own safety of your Computer/Laptop

I wrote to Avira and they answered back saying they could not find any viruses on the Farmville page and it was a false positive reading. They said that they would remove the pattern matching conditions for this alert in later updates. My situation is a little different from yours as I get the virus alert if I go directly to http://www.av-comparatives.org/images/st...g2010.pdf.
