How to stop this attack on my computer!?
So this thing on facebook where a friend of mine told me "How could you post this about me?" with a link to video on. I clicked on it and it said I need to install an adobe flash update to watch it, so I did. Then my comp crashed for a second and restarted. Ever since then, Norton has constantly been blocking an attack by Malicious site: Malicious web site, Domain, or URL 2. I want it to stop because I feel like eventually it's gonna damage my comp. Is there any way to stop it?

Block the person who sent you this attacking site.

Virus attack is a very common problem nowdays. To fix it permanently, I would suggest to format your computer.

Hi there,

This is an infection which is knows as trojan. It will destroy everything on your PC but very slowly. Simuntaniously it will also pass all the data on your PC to the creator of this virus.

There is a simple fix for this. Try the following;
1. Do a system restore from Start>All Programs>Accessories>Sys Tool>System restore to a date and time when ur PC was not infected.
2. If the above doesn't work because of the sevearity of the infection try rebooting the PC in safemode with command prompt and type this command
%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.e… and hit enter.

You will get a restore page and follow the simple steps to restore your PC to a date where your PC was working absolutely fine (Before you hit the link) restore the PC from here. No data will be lost by doing this but all the infections, viruses and programs installed will be wiped out.

Enjoy!!!

Reboot into safe mode, and run a AV scan (Norton?) and see what it does.
Download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org (free) and run it in safe mode.
Go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com and search around. Either someone else has had this, or you'll be able to post reports from your computer so that the community there can help.
Oh, and don't fall for that trick again. Even in an email from your friend; until you're sure it came from them.

To stop it, you'll have to remove it. In the future (as everyone knows), NEVER click on a video link on Facebook. For that matter, never click on ANY link on Facebook.

How you got nailed:
His account may have been compromised, and sent you a weaponized mail, with a link to a malicious server.
These tricks (common across many social network sites) send a provocative message which entices the recipient to follow a link. While there a splash screen with an "Update your flash player here" button.
It may look official as hell, but it's the unseen "iFrame" that holds the real URL which you will be taken to.
Since almost everyone has gotten use to the constant updating of Flash, they go ahead and click the "install' button and the deed is done.

You must never click a link offered on a site. Always get Adobe products updated right from the official Adobe site using the normal channels.
It's hard to say what's been installed, but seriously, it could be anything in the world.
Since it's trying to reach back to the 'Net, it likely is a "Trojan downloader", getting more rubbish to install.

Good luck.
