Can I use an Acer laptop screen to replace my Toshiba screen?

My computer screen broke today and I am wondering if I can use an acer or dell screen to replace it. I know it has to be the same size but I am not sure if it has to be the same brand or if I can save money and use an old one

I cannot verify if a Dell screen would work on a Toshiba laptop. They may be the same size but the connections could be different once you take it apart. This would be a question you would need to ask Toshiba.
