How often do you check out people you have met on facebook?

Say you go to work, college or school and meet new people but are not fb friends yet. Do you secretely check their fb out to see what they are like?

Have you ever told them that you saw their facebook and started a conversation with them in person on something they are interested in when you meet up or would that be creepy since your not fb friends yet?

if i just meet someone and i want to hit them up later i ask for a number or facebook. i dont creep them out later though. haha :b

I always check people out on FB too see what they're really like, A couple weeks ago I was looking to buy my first car on CL and I found this 02 Cavalier that I really liked the ad said it had no issues so I emailed the seller his email just happened to be his full name so I found him on FB his profile wasn't private and he posted "selling my 2002 Chevy Cavalier for $1200 obo has small oil leak" but during our conversation about the car he never mentioned that. Social networking is one of our generations greatest accomplishments!
