How can I change my profile picture without having a Facebook or twitter?

Whenever I put edit my preferences and click change picture it shows me no picture or one from Facebook. I don't have a Facebook so I was wondering if there was another way of adding a picture. Maybe by the ones in your documents or from another site? Thanks

i don't have a Facebook, i just changed it on my account on yahoo profile

You could choose either a cartoon or a photo avatar
Cartoon.
The Yahoo avatars page is no longer available but you can do this:
Create a personal avatar below save it to you pc then upload it as below.

Photo or avatar upload

Click on your current avatar then click edit my preferences to the right of your default avatar click update photo. Follow the prompts to upload your photo or a saved avatar from your pc.
