UNICEF Volunteer vs. Business Clubs on my resume?
I've been studying abroad in Japan for a year now, and am soon returning. I feel like I probably should join some clubs to improve my chances later when job hunting. Currently I'm an International Business and Finance double major. I plan on joining the International Business club, which isn't like a country-wide huge reputation club, just a local university group. I also wanted to volunteer with the schools local UNICEF chapter. I was wondering though, to business, does UNICEF look as good on a resume as say some large student Business club?

well, the best is if you can join both of them. but actually i think unicef is better then international business club.
1. the size of the organization. unicef is worldwide, meanwhile your business club might be limited into your local university group consisted less than maybe a 1000 people. 2. job market starting to demand more responsible employee. i mean responsible to global problem such as social, lawsuit or environment. 3. they want an active employee, from human resource perspective, lets say an active student is more likely to be an active employee.
