What do you think of this new trend in society?
Where people post pictures on twitter of the food they've eaten and the clothes they bought and places they shopped and cars they drive? I don't really like it, but would like others opinions. I mean, if you were someplace thats exciting, why not, but some of my friends would take a picture of starbucks coffe and post it up there...or food they ate at any restaurant. I think that is a bit extreme...and why even waste time doing it? Is it a symbol of social status? Cause to me only it only portrays a mindless customer. Plus, you're advertising someone's product without getting paid...what do you think?

I think it shows that people have way too much time on their hands. If you can post what you ate, what you drive, and what you wore today every single day, then you need a job or a hobby.

I believe that today most peoples minds are so much like oatmeal that they don't even know why themselves. People are so into themselves that they think that everything they do is something so interesting. Its what the Government wants, mindless robots to do their bidding. Put down the tech devices, and read and breathe, your mind may depend on it.

It think it's narcissistic to think we care that much.

It makes me laugh. Do they really think that everybody cares about what they had for breakfast?

i hate twitter with a passion and dont use it. but i get updates through twitter from my facebook friends (stuff uploaded to facebook status via twitter) and i see this stuff all the time! like 7 posts an hour or more, "waiting in line" "Eating a sandwich" "getting gas" "OMG I saw a cute guy!" from 30+ year old women, no less. UGH its so stupid!! I dont need a minute by minute walkthrough of everyones life, and how do you even have time for stuff like that?

Girl I feel like you. Not to the same extreme of course. They have no idea what this practice is doing to Marriages and Divorces.
