Do you think the GOP focuses on punitive policies or solutions?
I think the GOP has a marketing problem.
Conservative policies could work - at least some of them - but many GOP politicians appear insensitive to the needs of minorities and women. Currently we have GOP politicians talk about cutting all social spending, or arguing that employer-sponsored health plans shouldn't provide birth control. These statements are offensive to large blocs of voters. The GOP is focusing on punitive policies instead of promoting solutions. Ads |

You're right that it's marketing.
The Dems focus on the Emotional argument. The GOP focuses on the Logical argument. Emotion gets people to the polls. Ads |

Is not the most effective method of birth control for a woman to lock her knees together? Why should the government be involved in that?
