How do you put a picture on your yahoo profile..?

Hey you guys i just want to know how you put a photo on your yahoo profile bc, i can't do it at all . i try to put, i can't i need help .. i need someone to help me asap. i am tired of my profile being pictureless.!!

go to your account or picture on the upper left hand side of your screen and click on profile and then some where on there it will say add a picture or avatar

Easy as opening system preferences and then open users and groups and tack teh box for a picture at teh bottom of teh box and a selection of things will show in a drop down box and a Camera and take your picture and it will be added as your Profile picture ! If you want to add a different picture or animal or something in the box , look at where your choices are to up load something for my drop down box and close everything and go to finder and to that folder and add what you want to appear in the Profile picture box and place it there Then go bacl yo users and groups in system preferences and tack teh box for a Picture and when teh Drop down window shows choose that file that you just put a picture of something or a figuer or animal and then close and it will up load and the your Profile box will have they picture and tell you decide to change it , Edit Profile you can make your self visable or show you picture that you have sellected for it and thats all , Also in Profile if you tack around on teh Photo box you can take a picture there also and post it to your profile! A lot of stuff but its actually simple and fast to do! its about a 1/16 as hard to do then to explain how to do and the many different waysa and what you can do in one place but not in a different place!

You can use a photo avatar or a cartoon avatar from another site, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity > click edit my preferences near your current pic > click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.

Note 1: if you are on a mobile, you need to switch to desktop mode first in order for this to work.

Note 2: Yahoo no longer supports the creation of their cartoon avatars, sorry.
