why do some black girls use the hashtags #teambrownskin #teamlightskin ?

im not trying to be rude, considering i am half black (biracial) i was just wondering why do dark skin girls (well some of them) use the hashtag #teamlightskin #teambrownskin when they are black and have dark skin? it makes me wonder if they are ashamed of being black i've seen these hashtags from black girls on instagram,tumblr,twitter and i was just really curious. :o
