I'm 5'10" over 6' with stilettos on and I've never been called gross...I get a lot of attention from both men and women. Runway models are usually 5'9" or taller.

Did you know that statistically, taller people will be more successful? And fitter? Since they have longer bodies, their weight is distributed more than that of a shorter person.
