How many hits/views a good question may get?

i have noticed that in popular sections a question lasts for not mare than two hours.After that it goes in backpages.Most nearly all answers are in first few hours.Once a question is superceded by lot of new questions then nobody reads it.There is no counter to tell how many hits/views a question is getting however can experts tell how many hits/views an average question is getting ? (by linking their account with some counter/facebook or twitter account or any other means ?

It would be impossible to although Yahoo probably does for their marketing department.
