Not as much interesting as amusing, but how some of the posters in this section try so hard to appear "deep".

Good cow, people. Just wu wei it, and stop making your lives so complicated.

Seeing the inner workings of some people's minds. (Psychology too, but it reveals something different about what makes them tick.)

It's helpful since it's logical.

Philosophy is the academic study of all wisdom.

The word translated from greek
Philo = love
Sophy = wisdom

It is interesting because the branches of philosophy cover all formal institutions of knowledge.

Metaphysics - The theories of reality

Ontology - The theories of being and what can be

Epistemology - The theories of knowledge and what can be known

Politics - The theories of justice and how societies should be governed

Ethics/Morality - The theories of what it means to live a good life/be a good person

Economics/Axiology - The theories of value, worth, and market exchange or trade

Aesthetics - The theories of art and beauty

Any inquiry that you should seek to field can be found in philosophical discourse and expounded upon at length from varying individuals across a range of social and historical spectrums.

It is actually pretty amazing...but only if you really think about it.

You don't need wings to be a positive thinker,
just wisdom.
