Anyone know what Meople is?

about 3 years ago I found a website called meople.com.. all that was on there was some drawing, a place to register, and a caption "Online things coming soon." well I checked the site up today.. and its still the same.. anyone know if its still in development or is there like a site that you could read up on it?
